Closing Day Etiquette for sellers, Meagen Mackenzie, Okotoks Real Estate

How should a Home-Seller leave the house on possession day?

Possession day is a very exciting day. After all the time, effort & expense, the big day has finally arrived.

As a Buyer, you probably have big plans for your new home. You've probably been thinking non-stop about how you want to decorate it or how you want to put your stamp on it.

So what can a Buyer expect when they take possession? How should a Seller leave the property for the new Buyers?

This week's tidbit explains the proper closing day etiquette for Sellers and how they should leave the home ensuring a smooth possession for both the Buyer and the Seller.

As a home-buyer, what was your experience when you took possession of your new property? How was the home left? Did the Seller do anyting that made your day extra special?

As always, I welcome your comments, questions and suggestions.
