Just becaue your home is staged to sell, doesn't mean home buyers will overlook repairs that haven't been done.
A well staged home is the best way to wow buyers and bring in an offer. But home buyers will not overlook a home that hasn't been maintained.
A leaky faucet or stained caulking around the tub may leave buyers questioning how well the home has been cared for, which will naturally cause them to question if there are other much needed repairs that they can't see just by walking through the property.
As a home seller, you do not want to leave anything to question. That is why it is so important to not only stage your home to sell, but to repair your home to sell too.
This week's real estate tidbit goes over must do repairs to sell your home.
Of course because every property is different, the list will be different for each seller. A good real estate agent will go through your home with you and give you a list of repairs that should be done before listing.
