Everyone knows that de-personalizing is an absolute must when selling your home.

As a Real Estate Agent, when I'm touring a house with Home-Buyers, they always check out any photos left displayed on walls or side tables...they're trying to get a feel for the current owners and of course, wondering if they know who they are.

So it's best to clear out any personal photos or personal touches when you stage your home to sell.

But this can lead to other staging issues...empty spaces or stark walls that leave a room cold and lifeless. As much as you want to de-personalize, you don't want to strip the character from your home. Buyers don't like cold, lifeless homes either.

Well on this weeks Home Staging Tidbit, I have a great tip on how to replace those personal photos but still use your frames, wall space or table space to add character and warmth to any room.

Or, it could be used by anyone wishing to inexpensively decorate any room in their house.

Enjoy and Happy Home Staging!

As always, if you have any questions, comments or remarks, I'd love to hear from you.
