This week's project is a homemade cushion cover. I love these kinds of projects because they're easy ways to update or switch out your decor with the seasons or whenever you want to freshen things up.
Making your own cushion covers is fairly easy to do. Most of your time will be spent measuring and re-measuring. But, like any successful project, it's all in the prep work.
I'm making my cushion covers out of a drop cloth for painting. I love using these because they're inexpensive to buy and they go with my neutral decor. Plus, I don't always have time to get to the fabric store and try to decide on a pattern. This way I can make them to suit my decor.
I hope you enjoy this project - I sure did. And remember, if you decide to try it out, I'd love to hear how you like it, so leave me a comment below.
