Homemade Hardwood Floor Cleaner Recipe

DIY Hardwood Floor Cleaner, Meagen Mackenzie Real Estate, Okotoks Realtor, Homes for sale in Okotoks

Make your floors shine with simple ingredients you already have.

I love this new craze of making your own house cleaners. There's something so satisfying about making it yourself, especially when the results are so much better than store bought products.

For most people, the two main reasons for making your own cleaning products are cost and safer use of ingredients (or knowing what exactly you are using).

These are the reasons I've started making my own household products but another reason is simply because they work.

I've tried many store bought hardwood floor cleaners. Some work okay, some work really well but are ghastly expensive and others are just garbage.

So after much research on Pinterest, I found a good recipe that works, is safe for use and CHEAP to make.

The other thing I love about this recipe is how easy it is to use. Make it in a spray bottle for a spray cleaner, or mix a little bit with some warm water and use with a's great.

I hope you like it too and would love to hear how it works for you

Just a note on this recipe, I found that using warm water in your spray bottle works better. Even when the solution cools and you use it a week later, adding warm water when initially making it, seems to make it work better. Don't know if it's just me, but give it a try if you find using cool water doesn't work.
