I'm back at it....making my own homemade household products again. And this week, I'm making my own laundry detergent.
I've seen this recipe all over Pinterest and for any of you addicted to Pinterest like I am, you've probably seen it too.
I was really surprised at how easy this to make...well aside from grating the bar of sunlight laundry soap. But other than that, it's pretty easy to make.
Laundry detergent is an essential, but I've really lost faith in what ingredients are being added to commercial cleaners. You just never know what you're getting. Thus, my new quest to make my own cleaning products, laundry detergent included.
Below the video, is a list of the ingredients I used in this recipe. I hope you enjoy it, and if you decide to make this recipe or a variation of it, I'd love to hear how you like it.
Here's what you'll need to make this recipe:
1 bar of Sunlight Laundry Soap
1 cup of Borax
1 cup of Washing Soda
1/2 cup of Oxi-Clean
Grate the soap into fine pieces and mix together with the remaining ingredients. Use 1-2 tablespoons per load.
