Okotoks saw an increase in the number of sales as well as the Days on Market in April. There were 62 total sales in detached homes compared to 45 in March.
The average days on market for April was 45 days compared to 61 in Okotoks. An increase in sales and decrease in DOM means activity is picking up.
The median sale price for detached Okotoks properties was $435,750 compared to $460,750 in March. This tells me the lower priced properties were moving over the luxury homes.
Of these SOLD properties, they sold for 98% of list price.
There were 88 new listings in April, up from 71 in March...again, this is a sign of an increase in market activity.
The trend is definitely continuing to climb in Okotoks, showing signs of a robust spring market. Improvements in the labour market has contributed to a more balanced detached sector.
